TCMLATL officially opened on October 2, 2021. Many distinguished guests attended the opening ceremony, including Georgia Senator: Michael Rhett, Georgia House of Representative: Scott Holcomb, Mayor of Doraville City: Joseph Geierman, Councilwoman of Chamblee: Karen Lupton, the Director General of TECO: Elliot Wang, the Director of culture center Li Yin Lai, as well as many community leaders who came to support the mandarin learning.
At the opening ceremony, guests presented their wishes for TCMLATL to become a valuable resource, bringing high-quality Mandarin language education and cultural enrichment programs to the community.
After the opening ceremony, the guests attended a language workshop and visited the cultural exhibition onsite, which showcased various cultural activities such as calligraphy, shadow puppetry, diabolo, origami, Chinese chess, Chinese art crafts, and more.
