2024 Cultural Class-Taiwanese Snacks

In this week’s TCML cultural class, students were introduced to popular Taiwanese snacks: wheel cakes(車輪餅), salted crispy chicken(鹹酥雞), and pickled cabbage(泡菜). The class also included a brief introduction to traditional Chinese paper cutting(剪紙).
Everyone had a great time making and enjoying the snacks right in the classroom, immersing themselves in the “food” culture of Taiwan. It was a fun and delicious hands-on experience!
