2023 World Languages Day

TCMLATL participated in the World Languages Day on 10/19/2023. The event was hosted by The Center for Urban Language Teaching and Research (CULTR), a U.S. Department of Education Title VI National Foreign Language Resource Center, whose role is to promote and improve the teaching and learning of foreign languages.

The high School and college students who came to World Languages Day have taken a 2nd or 3rd foreign language class at school. Some students were interested in learning Mandarin Chinese but their schools do not offer Chinese as a choice. Those students were interested in TCMLATL’s online classes.
