Everything you need to know about our in-person Chinese classes.
Do I need any Chinese experience to join?
Not at all! We welcome students of all proficiency levels, including complete beginners. Our classes are designed to accommodate different learning backgrounds.
How do I find out my current level?
When registering, you can share your Chinese learning background with us to help us place you in the appropriate class. You're also welcome to try the first lesson to see if the class is a good fit for you.
You can also take our placement test to help determine your current Chinese proficiency level.

Our in-person classes are held at Atlanta Chinese School in Chamblee, Georgia.
How long is each class?
Each class meets once a week for two hours. Please refer to our course calendar for the semester schedule.
How many students are in each class?
Our classes typically have 4–12 students, allowing for interactive learning and opportunities to practice speaking Chinese.
What if I miss a class?
If you need to miss a class, please inform your instructor in advance. Your instructor can help you identify the materials covered so you can keep up with the class.
Can I join after the semester has started?
Late enrollment may be possible depending on class availability and your Chinese proficiency. Please contact us to discuss your options.
What materials will I need?
Your instructor will provide information about required textbooks and learning materials. We recommend bringing a notebook and writing materials to class.
