FAQs
How do online classes work?
Classes meet live on Zoom with a teacher. You can find course materials and available recordings in the Learning Dashboard.
How many students are in each class?
We keep classes small so everyone has opportunities to participate. Group classes generally open with at least three students; smaller enrollment may result in an adjusted lesson format.
What if I miss a class?
You can review available class recordings and materials in the Learning Dashboard during the course. Recordings are removed after the course ends.
How do I find the right level?
Share your Mandarin learning background in the registration form, and we’ll help place you in an appropriate class. You can also try the first lesson to see whether the level is a good fit. Placement Test — Coming Soon.
Do I need to buy textbooks?
Your teacher will explain any required materials before class. Course resources are shared through the Learning Dashboard.
Can I join after a course has started?
Sometimes! Contact us with your learning background and the course you’re interested in, and we’ll check whether joining late is a good fit.
