課文大意 Overview

李明和陳小雨約好一起吃午餐，可是李明來不及準時到餐廳。陳小雨打電話問他在哪裡，李明說今天路上有好多車，還要十分鐘才會到。

Lǐ Míng hé Chén Xiǎoyǔ yuē hǎo yìqǐ chī wǔcān, kěshì Lǐ Míng láibují zhǔnshí dào cāntīng. Chén Xiǎoyǔ dǎ diànhuà wèn tā zài nǎlǐ, Lǐ Míng shuō jīntiān lùshàng yǒu hǎo duō chē, hái yào shí fēnzhōng cái huì dào.

Li Ming and Chen Xiaoyu planned to have lunch together, but Li Ming won’t make it to the restaurant on time. Chen Xiaoyu calls to ask where he is. Li Ming says there is a lot of traffic today and that he will arrive in about ten minutes.

陳小雨：喂，你在哪裡？我們不是約十二點嗎？
Wéi, nǐ zài nǎlǐ? Wǒmen bú shì yuē shí’èr diǎn ma?

李明：對不起，我來不及了！
Duìbuqǐ, wǒ láibují le!

陳小雨：你還要多久才到？
Nǐ hái yào duōjiǔ cái dào?

李明：大概十分鐘。今天路上有好多車。
Dàgài shí fēnzhōng. Jīntiān lùshàng yǒu hǎo duō chē.

陳小雨：好吧，我已經到餐廳了。
Hǎo ba, wǒ yǐjīng dào cāntīng le.

李明：你先進去吧，不用等我。
Nǐ xiān jìnqù ba, búyòng děng wǒ.

陳小雨：沒關係，我在門口等你。你慢慢來。
Méi guānxi, wǒ zài ménkǒu děng nǐ. Nǐ mànmàn lái.

李明：好，我馬上就到了！
Hǎo, wǒ mǎshàng jiù dào le!

Translation

Chen Xiaoyu: Hello? Where are you? Weren’t we supposed to meet at twelve?

Li Ming: Sorry, I’m not going to make it on time!

Chen Xiaoyu: How much longer until you get here?

Li Ming: About ten minutes. There’s so much traffic today.

Chen Xiaoyu: Okay. I’m already at the restaurant.

Li Ming: Go inside first. You don’t have to wait for me.

Chen Xiaoyu: It’s okay. I’ll wait for you at the entrance. Take your time.

Li Ming: Okay, I’m almost there!
